School is really churning out those assignements as of late and you're freakin cause the homework is piling up to alarming levels. Agggggh! It's all good :) We can help....trust me :)


Come to our Homework Center on Tuesdays for some FREE tutoring in Math, English you name it. We are open from 3-6 and have some fantastic volunteers who have taken your plight to heart and love to help ;) So you see, it can't be all bad. Beaufort Branch Library is looking for more caring wonderful math whizzes! If you were born with the math gene, we need you! Please consider donating some of your valued time to help out students who could use your skills! The Beaufort Branch Homework Center offers free tutoring in a variety of subjects, but math is sorely needed. We are open each Tuesday from 3-6pm. So if you got mad math skills and want to help great!

Seriously, I wish I had the math gene...or is that genius? I had help from a wonderful tutor and went from a C to and A...now that's making a difference. But I still loathe geometry :)

School is back in full swing and that means homework! Ohhh the agony!!! Yep, it can be a drag but you know we have some help for you...for FREE right here at your fantastic local library :) Need help in Algebra? No prob. Need work with fractions? Relax. Need help with Shakespeare? Good luck...Just kidding! Of course we can help :) In fact we can help on Tuesdays from 3-6. We offer help for grades 5-12. You don't have to sign up, but it's helpful if you give us a call (843) 470-6522 and let us know what you need help with and for what class. Our tutors have a wide range of skills but it always helps to get a heads-up on the material.

**If you want to help us, we are always in need of more tutors! Please don't hesitate to contact us at (843) 470-6521. Patricia Porter is the head of our Homework Center and is actively recruiting tutors, particularly in math.

The hours of operation are Tuesdays from 3:00 to 6:00pm. You do not need to sign up and the tutoring sessions are free for kids in grades 5-12.

Happy New Year!


I can almost hear the sighs of relief from parents everywhere as their children head back to school...followed by the long groans as the kids pile off the buses that night loaded with homework. Ahhh there's the rub....(Who said that? I know where you can look...:)

Look here of course! BCPL starts up their Homework Center this January 9th and in the meantime...tell your parents you got it. No sweat. You're stellar. In fact, thanks to a little Homework Fairy...your golden. Fairy!!!?? Okay so maybe not a fairy...or Godmother...or elf for that matter, but you still have help. Homework help in fact is just at your fingertips.
